I'm Tim, a Canadian living in Orlando, Florida, and a millennial UGC creator working with brands that sell real products.
For over 15 years I've been a business owner in the automotive, marine and agriculture industries, creating, launching, marketing and selling my own products. That's the part most creators don't have, and it changes how I approach a video.
I'm hands-on with detailing products, ceramic coatings, tools and shop equipment. I use technology and AI daily to run things. I train, play hockey, golf and travel often. When I demonstrate a product in those categories, I'm not learning it on camera.
How I think about content
Problem first. Solution next. That's the whole method, and almost everything else is detail.
A viewer doesn't care about a feature until they recognize the frustration it removes. So I open with the frustration, in the words a customer would actually use, and then show the product doing the work. It should feel natural and relatable, while never forgetting that the point of the video is to make someone want the product.
Where I'm based, said accurately
I'm Canadian, living in Orlando, Florida. For brands, the practical description is Florida based and U.S. based, creating content for the U.S. market, available to brands worldwide. You don't need to be in Florida. Products get shipped to me, and software gets demonstrated remotely.
